Valentine’s Murder Mystery Dinner Recap

The Glenwood hosted two of its Signature Style Dinner events this past Saturday and Sunday, popularly known as the Murder Mystery Dinners. The event features a local area Theatre Troop that performs during dinner while guests team up with their tablemates to solve a scandalous murder mystery. The Glenwood welcomed over 250 guests throughout the weekend with all guests dressed in cocktail-style attire and ready to have a roaring good time.

Each evening began with signature drinks – Love Potion and Aphrodisiac – being passed along with delicious hors d’oeuvres handcrafted by owner and exclusive caterer, Irregardless Cafe & Catering. Guests mingled and enjoyed themselves until the ballroom doors opened the dinner buffet and act one through three.

Storyline:
It’s the engagement party of Buffy Chamois Ragsdale and Seth Poole. Miss Ragsdale is the daughter of textile magnate, Dusty Faircloth Ragsdale, and the late Muffy Glovestadt Ragsdale. Seth Poole is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade N. Poole. Expected guests include the distinguished Archeology professor, Dr. Doug Groundbreaker. Security is expected to be tight as rumor has it that some not-so-welcome guests could try to gain admittance to this, the social event of the year. Mr. Ragsdale requested that all invited guests be on the look out for any suspicious looking characters and to join them in a toast to the couple of honor…after all, some people would kill for an invitation to this party orchestrated by renowned wedding planner Evelyn Soiree!
